What is a Men's Circle

  • a place for Men to meet and talk about life
  • an opportunity to feel support and offer support to other Men
  • a place to explore human connection with other Men
  • an ongoing dialogue about the concepts of healthy masculinity
  • a safe place to engage and express deep feelings
  • a place and time that you can come to rely on and know that you can share anything and feel safe doing so
  • an energy and experience that is often difficult to put into words

About The Men's Circle

We follow an outline that is designed to allow each Man to be supported. The outline also allows each Man to look inward and assess where he is at, where he may need support and where he may need to do some work.

What you get from the circle is really up to you. You can quietly witness others, as they go through their process, only to find out that you learned a lot about yourself through the experience. Or, you can step up with courage and ask to be challenged and commit to taking action in your life.

The Importance of Commitment

Committing to consistently attending a men’s circle is an act of self-respect and courage that creates lasting benefits. By showing up regularly, you build trust with the group and deepen connections with others who share similar challenges and aspirations. This consistency fosters a safe space where vulnerability is met with support, helping you process emotions, gain new perspectives, and feel truly seen and heard. Over time, the shared accountability and encouragement from the group empower you to take meaningful steps toward personal growth, strengthening your ability to show up authentically in all areas of life.

The Circle has healing power. In the Circle, we are all equal. When in the Circle, no one is in front of you. No one is behind you. No one is above you. No one is below you. The Sacred Circle is designed to create unity. The Hoop of Life is also a circle. On this hoop there is a place for every species, every race, every tree and every plant. It is this completeness of Life that must be respected in order to bring about health on this planet. ~ Chief Dave Oglala Lakota
